AWARENES PROGRAMME at District Library, Nalbari on 25.08.2026
The commission organized an awareness programme in collaboration with Nalbari District administration about the role and responsibilities of PRANAM Commission among the Goan Panchayat Secretaries and Presidents, Principals of Higher Secondary Schools and Headmasters of High Schools, BEEOs, BDOs at Nalbari District Library Auditorium on 25th August 2026. The District Commissioner of Nalbari District Sri Nibedan Das Patowary welcomed all the guests and gathering audiences and said the importance of the Act. In the introductory speech commissioner of PRANAM Sri Phanindra Kr Bujar Baruah addressed about the role and responsibilities of PRANAM Commission and its present impact. He also said that joint family concept is the main backbone of Indian philosophy which integrated the family as well as the society and Nation. But at present it is deteriorated rapidly up to a nuclear family, even people are not hesitated to send their parents to old age home.The another commissioner Smt Jugabala Buragohain presented the power point about the objective features of the PRANAM commission. In the meeting Inspector of School Sri Ratul Kr Das and Chief Executive Officer of Zila parishad of Nalbari Dr DShrubajyoti Hazarika spoke about the present scenario of the society relevant to the commission. The Chief Guest of the programme, Pranta Sanghachalak of RSS, Uttar Assam Dr Bhupesh Ch. Sarmah pointed out lack of some important notice in the field of todays education system. He said that lack of moral values, spirituality and SANSKAR among elder people of a family, the young generation also is going demotivated regarding the issue and so some new problems are shown in the society and that is why we have to see these type of new Acts or laws like PRANAM Commission. In the 300 persons were presentfrom the field of education and gaon panchayat along with senior govt officers of Nalbari District.
